A stroller is the single most useful thing you can bring to a Disney World day — little legs give out fast, and it doubles as a place to stash bags, snacks, and a sleeping toddler. But Disney has a few firm rules about what you can roll through the gates, and getting them wrong at security is a rough way to start the morning. Here is exactly what is allowed, plus the small tricks that make park days with a stroller far easier.

The size limit: 31″ wide by 52″ long

Disney World requires strollers to be no larger than 31 inches (79 cm) wide and 52 inches (132 cm) long. Almost every single and double stroller on the market fits comfortably inside that box — it is really meant to keep oversized, hard-to-maneuver models out of the crowds. Wagons are not allowed inside Disney parks

• Make it findable. Tie a bright ribbon, bandana, or balloon to the handle so you can spot it from across the lot.
• Label it. Add a luggage tag with your name and phone number, and never leave anything valuable in it — take phones, wallets, and cameras with you.
