Two ways our scooters pack down

Travel scooters break down in one of two ways:

• Fold-flat models — the Compact Mobility Scooter folds in one motion, like a stroller, into a single flat piece you can lift with one hand.
• Take-apart models — larger scooters separate into 4 or 5 pieces (seat, battery pack, front and rear sections). The heaviest piece is light enough for most people to lift, and it clicks back together in seconds.

Which trunk fits which scooter?

As a general rule:

• Compact sedan (Corolla, Sentra, similar) — the folding Compact scooter fits in the trunk; take-apart models fit in pieces across the trunk and back seat.
• Midsize / full-size car — any of our scooters fit comfortably, folded or in pieces.
• SUV or minivan — the easiest option; most models fit assembled or with a single fold.

Loading it in under 30 seconds

For fold-flat models, pull the release, fold, and lift it in — done. For take-apart models, lift out the seat, disconnect the battery pack, and separate the two body halves.
